Hi All,

Thompson (rsstudio) has offered to do the same decals that he did last year for this year's race. In order to do that, he needs all of the numbers for the cars that will be running in this year's event. In order to know that, we need some sort of commitment from those who are now signed-up. Probably the best way to get that commitment is to set a deadline for the receipt of the registration fee(s).

So, since the due date for the cars to arrive at my track for the first race is November 25th and since Thompson needs some time to run this year's decals, let's set a registration fee cut-off date of October 1st. By that date we need your number(s) - remember, no duplicate numbers this year, so check the Registration thread to see what's available, and your money. That give everyone over a month to get out of Summer mode and back into slot car building mode and it's a good time to see your way clear as to whether or not you'll be able to run in this year's Panamericana race.

$15.00/car by PayPal, please, to the address in the Registration post. Those of you who have already paid your registration fee, thanks; it's a big help.

Hi Allan, I am just waiting for Monday to come along as it is some sort of deadline for the Postal strike to start.
It is my intention to run a car, but still on the building table. However if the strike hits it may change things.
Here's hoping it resolves favorably.

OK, Bob. But with almost 3 months left to the deadline for receipt of the cars, you could send it by carrier pigeon and it would probably make it in that time. And, there's always UPS, FedEx and the other courier services, who will probably have a hey day if Canada Post actually goes out on strike.................
