The body doesn't look to bad but like you said it sure isn't a RMS body. One of those small sanders may come in handy on that one.

Bob - sorry to see this. You are correct - the 3d model was simply back cast. As the model had no work done to it, you now get the pleasure. I'm assuming this is also a slush-cast? That also adds some work if you want to thin it or cut out the windows.
As for the pin holes - those are most likely fissures due to the silicone rubber used for the mold not having all the air vacuumed out of it before pouring it over the master. The sad part is that makes the mold wear out even faster as resin gets in those and starts destroying the mold almost immediately.
Hope you're able to get it to work for you.

At least it's the early vega body style. They looked more like a mini camaro.
When they went to the big bumpers and catalytic converters the cars were doomed.
I had a 74 I bought cheap because the clutch was shot. Back then it was less than 100 to replace it all in my driveway. 3 speed changed to a 4 speed from the junk yard and 14" wheels and I had a nice car. I loved vegas since.
Wish you luck with getting this rolling.
