Rules
We're going to keep the rules simple and few, as we did last year:
1/32 scale
racing/prototype cars from 1960-1975 period; Ford or Porsche
Plastic or resin body (no lexan)
Lightweight interiors allowed, but must be 3D and painted to show drivers head, shoulders, arms, steering wheel and dash
Lightweight glass allowed
Wheels must have period inserts or look reasonably period for the car
Plastic RTR or brass scratch-built chassis and everything in between / podded and non-podded
Motor limited to 22.5k rpm manufacturer's spec/ any configuration: IL, SW, AW
No magnuts
Minimum clearance 1.2mm
Rubber or urethane tires
Tires and guide not visible from above
Everything else - open
No duplicate numbers, so sign up early and claim your number(s)
Those are the basic rules, we may fine tune some of them if there is a need, but the intent is to give the builders as much freedom as possible, while still maintaining a reasonably level racing grid. If we get over 32 seriously interested builders, we'll revisit the cap, but it relates to what is manageable in a single race day for most of the hosts.
Entries
Cost is $20.00/car and each builder is limited to 2 cars; two Fords, two Porsches or one of each. Maximum number of cars for this proxy will be 32, minimum number to run the proxy will be 20.
Cars will be due at my track October 1, 2017, which gives everyone plenty of time to enjoy their Summer and still have time to build and prep their entries. The shipping address is:

Post to this thread if you're interested in participating in this proxy and I'll keep a running tally of the builders, the cars and the numbers here on this first post, so that it will be as close to all-the-information-in-one-place as we can get.
