A lot of people seem to be liking the Porsche 907k this years...............can't understand why....................(?) ;)

Ford time again........... Here's the GT-40 Mk IV; actually a totally different car than the Mk 1, which came both before it and after it at Le Mans. Purpose built and it certainly lived up to its expectations, even though it's racing time was short.





This car will be well represented come October 1st; thanks to the NSR cars.

Thanks Chris. I still remember that painful (for some of us.....) finish, when the new factory 917's went out with clutch problems, leaving the lone 908 to run against Ickx's GT-40. It was a great finish and a very smart drive by Ickx!

....but I do remember that Ahrens put a 917 on the pole for that race..........
