Jouef collection..Renault Alpine A442 #4

Well I guess we need to combine these post into one ..Got this Renault Alpine A442 #4 off of the bay..These cars came out in 78 towards the end of the line.They suffered from lack of detail.Needless to say I'm no expert,just passing on info that Kev has on his great Jouef site.With a little paint one can dress them out..Great running car and just fun to watch.These cars seem to race better the more you run them.Kinda like some of the older open frame trains and slots in the bigger scales from the 50's and 60's.

The shape of the car is surprisingly good. They caught some details that could have easily been left out. If you wanted to go crazy with a repaint, and stance the car a little more, you'd have a killer model. There's some good material to work with, for sure. :)

I think the car is actually an Alpine 441, with a 442 paint job. These cars have some good history. :)

Body detail is really allright where that one suffers is in the driver cockpit area!

I have one of those and it's pretty decent :auto-driving:
