I alway on the hunt for cars that look good. What is atrue 1/43. I look up inThe first model car made exactly to 1:43 scale seems to be French Dinky Toys No. 24R Peugeot 203, released in 1951 (Schellekens 2009), but many diecast iron or plaster toys in the 1920s and 1930s were also made about the same size, though not as precision 'blueprint' reproductions. As a representative example, a Volkswagen Beetle in 1:43 scale measures about 3.5 inches in length. Larger cars might measure 4 to 4.5 inches if reproduced to 1:43 scale. I fine car collecting to be fun I get sort of frustration when putting on my cars for display. in my art The idea of placing a dodge dub next to a Carrera go mustang is silly enough to begin with but it becomes even more silly when the Dodge dub is larger than the mustang . Both of these cars are not precision but if looks good I say if you fixi it to run your track makes you happy do it and show it to the rest of us Image

Definitely still lots of fun. :)

I've never been the kind of person to really care about if a car's truly to scale...unless it's completely goofy looking, and then I care. lol But if you can have fun with it, then that's all that matters. :)
