Well it does seem to have changed.But from what I'm seeing it's all the scales.Not just 1/43.Just look at places that used to sell slots.Good thing we have the internet..It's not really drying up here though.Just put this together this afternoon to run some no mag cars on.Plan on making borders and such.. :D

Hey Jeff,yea I can't leave well enough alone I guess.. :D
To me some of the fun we have is trying new layouts..Your table will be ideal for that. :)
Randy,we moved the digital to where the wood track was,then the Christmas layout was..
The wood wasn't getting any attention and I kinda rushed up Santa..
Got digital and a small Analog in the infield..
Been having fun trying to tune some 1/43 for non-mag running and just kinda threw the 1/43 one up.
I've got a very understanding wife,needless to say..

Well, honestly this track is intended for both the scales I run 1/32 & 1/43, But also another I intend on running in the future and It's right in the middle 1/38!!!

No, it think it changed to people running Carrera D143 sets right out of the box and not doing anything more.
I like the idea of digital racing, but i don´t like to change 100+ cars. Okay, make a "dual" track is an option. But where to get the chips? They are pretty expensive compared to a standard 1/43rd car.
And it looks like D143 equalizes the product deviations between cars (the little things that change during manufacturing, that make one car just a little different from the one right to its side that looks totally the same, but doesn´t run the same).
the 2nd point is that people changed from participating in a forum to just reading. I know some guys that do really great work in 1/43rd, especially one german guy in norway, that like the scale, but don´t like posting to much. it´s a little bit like facebook style - much reading, not much posting.
Anyone heard from Steve from Ranch-Design lately?

Personaly I plan to race a 1/43 SCX COT serie on my 1/32 lanes oval : these are good looking little slot cars, and cheap. I bought 6 of them, for this project.
