Thanks everyone! Thinking positive that things will work out. Very pleased that 143 drag racing seems to be gathering some interest.
I will be watching the race at the Holler for sure and hopefully will be able to get back to my bench soon

Quick Update.

As some of you know I had to cancel my race schedule for Aug 15 due to health issues and Doctors orders have grounded my butt for a while.
However a member over on the Nitroslots site has stepped up and will hold an event sometime around Sept 15. I know that a few of the Nitroslot members will be entering in the up coming Possum Holler event. Between the two sites it looks like 143 drag racing will finally be taking a foothold. I know over the years a few have tried to get it going but it seemed to fizzle out. I always thought it was a great size and its one of the reasons I decided to build my track. Once I am past this health issue my track will reopen and make some noise.

Lets keep it going!!

Hey Bro,
The cars you see in the pictures are diecast bodies mounted on my chassis. I really enjoy the 60 and 70 muscle cars and like to keep at least one of each as showroom stock as possible. I use the wheels and tires off the diecast! They run a little bumpy but thats OK. I take the diecast bodies and strip them down of detail and then make molds for resin casting later for hotter rides. I then clean up the diecast bodies and reassemble them and mount them on my chassis. Once I get back on my feet 100% I will be opening my track back up and also plan to offer the bodies for those who would like them.

Phase Two of the 1/43 Drag racing will take place on Nov 14, 15 and 16. Three different classes will be offered. The first two are simple Artin builds. The third will be primarily an opportunity to send in anything you have, select the voltage you would like and let it rip! We are starting simple here at Cecil County Drag Strip. Three events are scheduled for 2015 and it looks like there maybe another track or two in the works.
