El, if you take up photo etching let me know, I asked for that in another thread. something I do not want to tackle. as far as the inserts, I uploaded a wheel insert page on my site with 18-20 different styles, but took it down the next day not sure I wanted to do wheel inserts as most may have a prob finding wheels to fit. I make my own wheels so its no prob but not everyone can do that and I do not want to get into the wheel making business. I have a manual lathe and not cnc. the only reason I offered the wheels on the w196 was because it was a special car with special wheels and I didn't find a source that could be purchased readily. I must have been smoking crack when I made that offer thinkin I could do that many wheels manually in a timely manner. which by the way Mas, yours will be done tomorrow evening finally and I will get them out this weekend, sorry for the long delay. Steve does a fine job making wheels and he keep it  . as far as radio shack motors, basically an scx motor, all of my cars have shack motors and they run great and it keeps all my cars on the same level, I have two different chassis I designed around the shack motor, including the slider I just finished molding for a series of bodies I am about to finish. great motor no matter which voltage you get, they are all the same. the minis I built have a firebox from ASCW and a chassis from Peter(shapeways), so no matter what you want to build, someone here has what you need.
