I think Rusty's car is later than 2005 - i would check the WB.
Cars before 2005 had threads in the tires, after 2005 they got slicks and started to be more scale., before the difference was only in the paintjob.

I already fabricated body mounts, and mounted the toy Jalopy motor to the Go Chassis, see 2nd pic. Now I need to paint and detail up the Jalopy body. I am Sooo Happy :D
BTW- does anyone know if there are other tires I can swap onto these F1 rims, that are slightly taller ? They can be OEM Carrera or Aftermarket, but I'd like to get 4 of them if possible.

wheelbase is perfect! great project!

for tires - the biggest tires i know are from the Porsche or Peugeot LMP (19mm) cars, but you will need to swap out rim and tire. Or you take Ranch-Design wheels. The old Corvette also had big tires (18mm OD).

EDIT: forgot about the Go!Pickup trucks - they also have big tires - 18.5mm

I use the truck chassis and wheels frequently, I think the Carrera NASCAR wheels would probably look good on there!
