waiting for some parts to arrive - axles from Ranch-Design, tires from CarGo to be able to finish the Mini JCW. On wednesday i will drill out the crowns from Gregory Braun. I really need to start painting the body, otherwise the chassis is finished before the body.
And i totally forgot that a slotcar will need a guide :/ , so back to shapeways and ordering a big set of guides - cable guides, braid guide and for a race - a new type of guide, with slimmed down middle section to reduce friction :D

Being from St-Hubert QC Canada, it's pretty hard to get spare parts (even tires) for my Carrera Go collection on my side of the border :doh: :doh:
But i still like my layout and having a lot of fun :auto-driving: :dance:

The bigger scales are a blast...but the price gets crazy. You get used to having so many 1/43 cars, you want that many in 1/24 :)
I had a great time with 1/43. Son brought it up he wanted another slot car track.

Hello scoobe,
I bought 3 Carrera Go sets (1 for my 2 grandsons and 2 for myself ). Really nice cars and can't say nothing bad about the tracks.
We are having lots of fun and i think that's the best part of all... :lol: :banana-dance:
