I bought some wheels and tires,so I have no excuse to not build a Mini.

I went to the Fabric store and bought some fabric mesh that is really close to scale chain link. It should look OK, but not sure if it is up to the task of keeping a heavy 1/24 scale car on the table., I will give it a try.

No worries on the gutter guard. I have a local source. I am going to try this fabric mesh first and see how it looks and functions.

If The Mazda makes it here ,it will be the first Mazda to run on the KHR

OK here is my attempt at some 143 scale chain link fence.

Posts are painted dowel. Rails were made by drilling hole in the dowel and then running heavy elastic thread through all the holes The Fencing is some type of material I picked up at a Fabric store. It is semi shiny grey in color.

Hope it can handle a heavy crash and keep stuff on the layout. I am not to worried about the 143 cars, but the bigger 132 and occasional Cox 124 might test it.

Thanks David. Hope your getting a handle on your recent health issues. Very impressive looking fencing Dan. It looks like it should stop a 1/32 but that Cox may give it some "patina" :lol: Definitely looking forward to seeing Bobs track running. Beware the Mini's they act more like Ferrari's. :lol:

Looks like it would be a good runner Aki. I find these little motors don't offer much for brakes though, so they take a little getting used to, but once you find the rythm they can be quite fast.
