Nitroexpress sent me a pm and withdrew his track from the series which leaves us 4 tracks. 3 no-mag and 1 mag. if there is anyone else who can or wants to host a race let me know, the first race isnt that far away

Bill, a 1/43rd NoMag - Deslot (Crash) will not do any damage on your cars. And you don´t know if your cars don´t stand a chance against the other if you did not try it! i´ve already seen some different cars and if your car run only as half as good as they look like, they have a chance, so give it try ;)

I'm withdrawing my track from the series. I see no point in chancing wrecking your cars when most of you guys have your cars set up for no-mag racing. I have no experience at all running no-mag and crashes at the end of my 24' straight can do serious damage that I don't want to be responsible for. There might also be problems with the low track clearance/high rail height of the Ninco track. Sorry guys I'm firm with this, been thinking about it for a while. Decided yesterday when I went to run a DSlot that I had sanded the tires a little too much and the magnet stuck right to the rails.

Bill, I have a Carrera GO track that I test my cars on for proxy racing and the cars are setup to run well on that kind of track. No mag cars dont only work well on wooden tracks. The only requirement is that the voltage can be lowered as some of my cars work fine on 15volts on a plastic track but some are happier around 12 volts.

I mainly do rally cars. Proxy racing for me is just a bit of fun. I build my proxy cars with it in mind that they will crash out sometimes, so what? In the end they are only toy cars, not prescious collectors items.

If my car comes back as a box of bits it doesnt matter! I can use it to make something else.

Please dont pull your track out for this reason, it would be a great shame.

Hate to see you do that Bill. Btw i have a 7 year old and a 30' back straight!!!!!!!!!!! there arent enough smileys over there on the right to precisely express what i feel when a car hits the wall BEFORE I remembered to turn the voltage down for him.
