yep, that are things that can happen with these old kits.
i had a body where one of the tires rested on the hood for a long time, the tire leaked some softeners and made a deep dent in the hood.
but nothing a little putty & sanding could not cure ...

...or it has been sitting in an attic for 29 year in high-heat. Ask me about the 1/24 Hurtubese Chevelle I got from those conditions. Took a year on a board to make it half-way straight, and it will take another 28 to make it right.
