Which make me think... what does it cost for a brand like Carrera to have a license for making a slot car from a real one , I know it all depends on the car & deal that they make with a particular brand but what does it cost in general?

Could we ordinary people get a license to copy a real car at smaller scale to start selling it like smaller companies Slot it , Scaleauto , Avant slot , etc.. or it cost to much?

Just wondering why someone (a third party) didn't start making good cars in 1/43 yet? (cars only)
