Tony "Two Lane" Fazoli, Uncle Sal, and Big Vinnie are supervising the reconstruction of the Jehu Speedway oval with its new BriSCA/Spedeway Motorsports UK format. Although the track main track will be a tad shorter, the infield will still feature the dual, flat figure-8. Rewiring to facilitate the right-turn racing is underway; once the mechanicals are mastered, the fencing, walls, and aprons will be next on the agenda.
Da Boyz are going to be assembling card stock caravans (camping trailers) for some semi-serious banger (demolition derby) meets. I am building a photo-prop garage for exterior pics-- and as soon as I figure out the ever-changing photo posting gymnastics, the gang will be showing its new handiwork.

Yeah, since the Hobby Shop bit the dust, I've been enjoying retirement full time, except for the leaves. The dogs ripped out the wiring under the slot table, so I guess one could say they motivated me to update the track. My political cartoons on FB have kept me occupied but the influx of Artin knock-offs flooding Wallyworld and Family Dollar also helped spur me on to work on JS.
Plus, Da Boyz have been gettin restless at the shop so I had to redirect their energies, so to speak. Going to have to scrap a lot of my US "iron" as I go BriSCA, but some will be converted to join my Euro-based slots.
Still having trouble finding running gear for my 1/43 classic Mini-Minors, but the challenge is fun.
