my taste in cars tends to lean towards obscure. this one will fill in the trans am spot for me. Ron Grables 67 dart is what i am after so it will be modeled as such, sans the bumpers etc. . .

Nice work Mickey you like the obscure how about doin the 2 liter and under trans am class it was fun to see pintos,mustang ii,vega, alfa, porsche and the like runnin around Road America and the drivers where big time serious about their racing.

Saw a number of elbows and hands flying around after the racing,who would of thought that runnin a little car would make the drivers so angry.

Of course if I had the skill for drafting, carving,and and eye for details like you, I'd be doing some of my own. Like the rare pontiac CAN AM olds rally 350 and the Yenko stinger These cars where short run cars .

The rally 350 was a one year run in 1970,the Can am was also a one year run it started in 76 for the 77 model year and it is believed that 1100 to 1700 where built. and the Yenko stinger being the harder of the three to find not sure how many Yenko built and is the rarest of the Yenko, Yenko also did a V8 vega but the camaro's,chevelle's and nova being the popular ones, not to many people are interested in the others. or they don't know.

BTW: I just done a looksey at a corvair club site and they say only 185 where built that includes street and competition model in SCCA GP class and one convertible street stinger making that one the rareest of the stingers by Yenko

Awesome work and one of my favorites,I had 4 Darts,2 dusters and a demon and many more mopars including a convertable challenger of my dads in my younger Days , keep passing another project one on the road and want to stop and see if he will part with it.timing is everything . Now is not the time...... I will have to build one of these instead!!!!!! Think of the fuel I will save as well as the thousands $$$$ I would dump in.
