Peter,
I am really liking what I am seeing here.
Now if you come up with a "Type 4" - which would be a motor pod type with a magnet pocket, that would be a winner. Using the thought process of Slot.It where you can either put the magnet in or leave it out would produce a super chassis.
Just looking at the way you have the vertical ribs built into the motor pod chassis, I think you could easily come up with a magnet that would work in this situation. I think a very doable concept.
I would absolutely love to have my DSlot cars be able to come of a corner under power and not tip up on their side and roll to the wall.

Peter,
After reading Bill's post I have a question . . . . have you considered making an adjustable wheelbase variant?
Variant #3 appears that if you were to put 'slots' in the 3 mounting points for the motor pod, and then use machine screws and Nylock type nuts that might be possible?

Marty, you can specify the wheelbase durimg the ordering process, so where is the need for an adjustable wheelbase?
It posible to be added ...

Sorry, I did not know you had a chance to specify the wheelbase. What a super thing - custom chassis.
I'll just go back to sleep.

Wow Peter!
Talk about raising the bar.
Looks like I'll have to get another D-slot or can I get enough parts to build up a chassis?
How are the times on your track compared to other cars?
Cheers Ted

That is really quite impressive, now I need to learn how to do that to make some 1/24 chassis for all the kits I have sitting around waiting for a chassis
cheers

Awesome work, Peter!
That is so cool that you can order your own wheelbase and plug it into the printing.
Totally custom, that's amazing!

Peter,
Excellent work. Could you please post the dimensions you would use for the chassis to fit each of the DSlot43 bodies?
Best regards,
Brian
