Here are some pictures of my latest built:

body: DSlot Mazda 787 - thanks Bill!
chassis: PDR - printed motorpod chassis
motor: RadioShack 7,5V
pinion: Ranch-Design Brass (Messing) 9 Zähne
crown: Ranch-Design Alu 24 Zähne
high flexible silicone coated wires for guide brushes
front rims: Ranch-Design .350"x.187"x.085" Double Flange Wheel (15")
rear rims: Ranch-Design .372"x.250"x.085" Double Flange Wheel (16")
axles: Ranch-Design 2.2mm (0,085")

wheel inserts are made out of the plastic wheel from a HotWheel Ferrari 575. The rear end features the new Ranch-Design LowProfileTires - i like them :) , but maybe i posted this before ;)

The car is running really smooth, the new gears from Ranch-Design work really great. Accelaration is a good as a normal DSlot car, the RS motor is strong enough as the DSlot bodies are quite lightweight. Also the ground clearance is now okay i think :)

How does it compare in laptimes compared to the same chassis with the Dslot motor Peter?

Lloyd, i only ran it against a DSlot 962 with scratchbuilt chassis and CarGo tires (new tires from Germany) - and the laptimes were equal. I would not rate this as given, as the track has been dusty. Best lap was 9.7 for both.

Hey really nice work. I really like the chassis, the PDR chassis. Where can I get my hands on these. I have some models that I want to convert and these chassis look like the best choice. Please help.
