nice 2 tone paint job!

The Hemi Under Glass decal sheet doesn't come with sponsor decals on it so I bought a whole sheet of them. Can never have too many!

Bill, a zillion years ago (1964-65) they had an airshow at NAS Glenview, Ill where I lived. They asked our scout troop to help with support and the group I was in were assigned to "help" Bob Riggle, since he was there to do a part of the show. They had the transporter that normally hauled the "Hairy Olds" (it had burned the week before). Anyway it's amazing the details you remember: Drivers name on the roof was "Rapid Robert Riggle" and on the rear just below the trunk lock area was "Frantic Fish" in the same font. During the show Bob kicked the tail around at the end of the run and rolled it onto it's roof.....they rolled it back upright and he came back, up on the rear wheels, creased roof and all! Also if you check Mark Gussin's site he has some video of the car performing at Goodwood.

I'm really anxious to get these decals and the ones for the LA Dart! I'm ready to shoot the black for the windows and get them masked and probably primered and the white and mask it for the stripes tomorrow. My Red Testors One Coat Lacquer for it came last week.I love this paint, one coat, goes on nice and even and dries really fast! I don't know how I ever worked with enamel!!

I figured as long as there was going to be a couple days waiting for the decals, I'd order some one coat white for the Dart too. I really can't do the stripes on the Dart till I get the decals because there's a red Valvoline decal that is going to need a white space in a red stripe so it can be seen. OOPS, looks like I need to make a quick pass around the front wheelwell with a piece of very fine sand paper or the top of a fingernail.
