For those that have timimg systems, the run will be a total of 25 laps with the 5 slowest thrown out and run in the outside and inside lanes.
For those of us that dont have timing i would suggest we adopt the David Reinecke method of timing as follows-
"I elected to give each car a 3 minute timed heat in each lane of my 3-laned track.. The total number of laps driven for all three heats would be used as the finish placement. If multiple cars had the same number of laps driven, then the fastest lap of each car would be weighed for their finishing placement. This actually worked very well and there were no issues determining the winners with this method."
You can read about it here: http://rmsresins.com/proxy-racing.html
The host with plastic track must have a adjustable power supply to be able to run the no mag cars on plastic track or you will not be able to host a race.
There will be a show-n-shine event held at the first race before racing starts and the winner will be decided by HRW members and guests.
Now the cars. Any of the following between the years of 1966 and 1972 will qualify for the H.T.A. O-2 Series
