I don't know whats going on with all this opposing rules and 3 (I think!) separate races. :?
I will sponsor one race with prizes, and it appears (I think!) the O2 has it.
SCX made and Carrera makes cars that are eligible and that's were I need to put my money.
I am going to let you folks figure it out, and then I'll decide to offer prizes, or not.

Of course it's a mess, it's racing :) This morning I found the small bore cars suddenly kicked out of the Trans Am proxy, despite there being interest in entering those sorts of cars. Didn't seem very sporting to me, so decided to propose a U2 race, (In fact it was suggested by Transam in his revised T/A thread). The U2 proxy will be, by necessity more of a scratchbuild event. Your participation would be most welcome, but I understand the marketing aspect of sponsorship, and you need to go where the customers are :)

you were not kicked out of the proxy sir. i simply removed myself and the large bore cars to a new proxy as it was intended to be in the first place. the addition of u-2 was only after the scad of pm's i received, i thought it only fair but my heart was not in it so i had to go. yes it was a mess cjent, my apologies sir. it is now sorted out to the 2 proxies. your participation would be greatly appreciated, and lack of will be understood. again my apologies for the mess, but i think this best for both parties.

I'll say one thing from all that went on I had no clue that my Opel Kadett Ralley was a TransAm car!

So much of the appeal of Trans-Am back then is how much variety there was. Would have been so cool to have a large varied field. Maybe some other time.
