Hey guys,we bought the avengers set and found the cars run well.In my past dealing with the go cars ,some run decent,some don't .Which cars will run as well as the cars that come with this set?The newer ones?I'm also looking for the Bond DB5 car.We've also been running my SCX Cudas.They run well and are a little more fun to drive with the guide set up.What other SCX cars run like these?

OOPS, the rest of my reply didn't go thru. GO!!! cars work great on any track with just a little normal tune-up. I bring a couple with me to show you the 27th. :D

Hi Rusty. I've only been at this for about a yr. now, but so far I've found that all my Go cars run very well with basic tuning. The F1's are the fastest at 2.8-3.5sec on a 37' track. The nascars run 3-4sec. I have the #66 Ferrari that with a set of KD tires will run 2.9sec. The 2 scx nascars will run away from the carrera nascars on the straights (12V car 14.8V track?) but can't corner anywhere close to the carreras. My scx Cudas are right there with my faster carrera nascars with the yellow one being able to corner better than the blue one.

from my experience, go!cars can run good if you´re lucky to get one from the better end of the spread from manufacturing standard.
luck is the only word that comes to my mind here.
luck you will also need when searching for a DB5, Rusty ;) or money LOL

But all Go!cars will run good with some standard tuning measures!

Hey thanks guys!!Cjent,man you may have me confused with some one else,though I would love to see your cars.I'm just having some fun with these cars.Traded Bibbster for some extra track and away we went.Easy to set up and just race.We've been running a redneck ghost car .Gives ya something to chase and see if you can lap him a few times .I've got a couple of tattoo power supplies that I'm using,one per lane with Parma controllers.Adjustable voltage for cheap. I was kinda of thinking that the DB5 would be hard to get,but maybe resin would be an option.
