Wow that's great news! The price looks good and I am guessing that the other stumbling block to me ordering one before (the shipping) will be more manageable as well!
I think this will be good move for you, Techno-slot and US 1/43 guys!

The price is much better than when I bought the 1st one(the one I sold to OL Mike)! I paid $40+ huge shipping from Spain. Wasn't worth it to me for the number of conversions I was doing at the time. Kihm has a more doable price!!

As long as I can make a little to justify carrying the products, I'm happy. Life is tough enough without having to "pay through the nose" for something.

Opinion / Feedback:
I've kept quiet about this as long as I can stand it.
It is bad enough we can no longer get slot motors that are Made in the USA. Now we have another import chassis on the market complete with knurled axles with push-on plastic wheels that, in all reality, the wheels are not easily re-usable once installed.
The claim on the Tecno site is "the FIRST UNIVERSAL CHASSIS to adapt 1:43 static vehicles, or similar, to SLOT" which is totally untrue. There were other adjustable chassis even before the first Ranch Design adjustable chassis was offered. As for the 'ease of use' the .pdf and video files show grinders and such being used for a simple wheelbase sizing. You do not have a choice of gear ratios - standard SCX Compact plastic push-on gearing is it.
Thanks, but no thanks.
Ranch Design manufactured products are 'Made in the USA by a veteran'!

Kihm,
I have been steadily involved in manufacturing since 1973 in various areas of responsibility. I also have a son who happens to be a veteran so that 'almost' makes us even on that point. I also happen to be a no-nonsense kind of guy when it comes down to basic business and supplying customers.
You have made some very presumptuous assumptions.
I made a clear statement regarding the 'manufactured' products. I engineer the manufactured R-D products from the ground up and perform the machining work myself. You have no idea where I get my
raw materials. That is proprietary information because of the research, period. I do my level best to purchase raw materials made in the USA and, as I said about the motors, it is sad that USA made products are getting harder to find, but I keep finding them. Even the cutting tools I buy to make the R-D 'manufactured' products are 'Made in the USA'. You have no idea, other than motors, where the products I re-sell are originated - and again it is none of your business, you haven't a clue, and you are only guessing.
As for the SCX cars sold to you, those were not R-D manufactured (DUH), you knew it, and made the purchase.
You asked for opinions/feedback and you got it. In your post you slanted my character and business. We talked on the phone before you grew this post and we made an agreement, but when the dust settled you didn't stand tall and abide by it. Thank you very much.
Question:
Exactly what have you brought to the 1/43 scale other than 'me too' total import products?
