Works great on my track! Need to shorten the guide for the tight turns on GO!!! track. Terrific on the larger 1/32d-1/24th track.
But of course, I am prejudiced. I sell them.

Should work fine on Carrera track, but as you noted, the rails may unsettle the car somewhat. I do wish Kyosho would listen to the chorus of folks saying their stock tires are too hard and give us some good soft tires! Unfortunately the "unpredictable side" is precisely because you are using a small car on a big track; May not have a choice if you run allot of 1/32 or 1/24, but it's hardly the fault of the car or the scale. NOW if you went routed you should not experience much problems at all! ;-)

I've run them on Carrera, and find the Paul Gage tires to be really helpful if you're going to run them no-mag on slippery plastic. Almost too easy to drive on Carrera with the magnets and the stock tires.
