Body: RC car body: Fast Lane Super Slicks 2.0 Body Kit: Mitsubishi EVO VIII
Chassis: SCX Tuner
(I mostly completed this build before going on vacation but didn't get chance to post it. Also, it still needs some fine tuning for fit, ride height, etc.)
I had seen these bodies on the auction site a few times and took a chance it would fit good. The EVO came in a 2 pack of bodies, with a yellow R34 Skyline that I am still working on.
Chassis wheelbase was shortened and the front was removed up to slide guide. As the Tuners run a bit wide, I removed 3mm from axels to get the wheels under the body.
The body came 'wired' with head and tail lights. Rewired them and used the resistor from the Tuner to keep them from blowing on the higher track voltage. Had to add mounting posts.

She looks good Stig can't wait till you get er fine tuned. are you going to throw on a different color or ?

nice thing about the Fastlane bodies - lightweight and it´s easy to add driving lights due to the clear body!

Racer-No painting on this one. As Peter is saying, the body is one piece 'clear' plastic. The factory paint is pretty good and I would be afraid to screw it up.
