Raced Bugeye's in the 60's. Dad raced a TC in the 50's. Never raced a Morgan. Wished I had.

Not sure about bringing colour to the grid Roland, they are going to be British racig green!

The Morgan is on Porsche 904 plastic wheels from the diecast on the front, with resin inserts copied from the Porsche wheel in RD wheels on the rear.

The Sprite is on plastic wheels from a diecast Sunbeam Imp.

I am not a great F1/open wheeled fan. But some of the RTR Fis are not too bad and could be a basis for an F1 proxy sometime.

Sorry Chuck, nearly missed your comment. Racing was so much simpler with cars like these, and affordable!

Morgan suprised Porsche by winning the 2 litre class at the Le Mans 24 hour in 1962 against the factory 904s, with a car that was built in 1957, and which was then driven back to England!

i don´t know the clearance, i will have to check.
while running magnet proxies the clearance rule always had been 0.5mm, but this was intended to limit the down force.
1mm under the whole chassis? not too sure ...
