Heller Austin Mini

What HO running gear best fits the 1/43 Austin Mini? I picked up 4 brand new Scalextric straights at a thrift shop for $10 total and the rails look amenable to multiple scales. All I need is some R2s and four more straights to build my British-theme oval (I'm already designing 1/43 Reliant Robins. I'm torn between riding the pickup, or offsetting the motor pod to have a true tricycle front.)
Peter, I think you alluded to the HO-Mini lash-up in SCF but I can't find that post to which you referred.

I believe Peter did a printed chassis for his last Mini, your best bet would be to find that on Shapeways and have one printed up!

The Mini chassis i did is available on shapeways.
Ranch-Design could do the wheels needed for the Mini, just let me know if the dimensions are needed. Tires came from Germany, from CarGo, i can give you his adress if you like.

i tried my luck with a Marchon H0 Jeep chassis at first, it needed to be lengthened by 3 mm, a difficult job, as the plastic of the chassis did not accept the glue in a good way.
A Tomy G+ or Tomy SRT chassis should fit the Mini body, but both need to be lengthened by app. 8mm to get the wheel base.
Those H0 chassis create real downforce on 1/43rd artin track!

somewhere in all these pictures, there should also be some of the first mini chassis i did. first in brass, then in styrene ...

sorry, don´t know which H0 chassis fits nearly withoug altering it. Maybe one of those flat new F1 style chassis?
