Foyt to wheel Corvair mini-stocker at Jehu Speedway!

Tommy "Two Lane" Palermo, the new promoter at Jehu Speedway, has inked AJ Foyt to pilot the 1960 Corvair for the upcoming fall ministox series. Uncle Sal and the crew at the Nerf Fab Shop spent an entire three hours preparing the ride for the racing legend.




The Parma (TX) Chevrolet dealership/Puralator-backed machine still has some traction issues but some 120-grit sanding of the Artin meats should do the trick. The crew chief of the 22 car, Ralph Nader, is very exacting. :mrgreen:

I don't know about the "reliability" of Nader as a crew chief, however...............................
