If I'm thinking right,a few folks here bought up some Motorific cuda bodies some time back for a decent price.Any one know any thing about these<or has it been to long?

I have some, they are a little bigger than 1/43. They are nicely detailed though!

Yeah dge467 is right ,they`re a little heavy on the scale of 1/43,I`ve got a 65 Stang setting in mothballs that I built,but once I set it on the track it looked like a monster compared to the 1/43rds

how much bigger? is it something I can section? I would like to have that cuda but wondering how much I would have to cut

I'm looking for one or two if any one has one they would like to move on out the door!Just shoot me a PM and we can trade or deal.

guys if I get some free time sometime this week I`ll try to dig through my old stash,and see if I have any left,tha biggest problem (other than size) if I remember right was with the windows,they used some sort of glue to glue them in that was almost impossble to get them out in one piece,plus it made the top have what looked like a dent in it! :lol:

Most Motorifics scale out to an Average of 1/40th scale, does not sound like a big difference, but it is! Cars like the Cuda are probably closer to 1/38 scale because all Motorifics (except the trucks as I found out) are made to fit the same chassis; so small cars get stretched and made bigger and big cars get shrunk down! The Motorific TR2 is about 1/32 scale where-as the Motorific Rolls Royce is about 1/48 scale.

I'm not really too concerned about scale as we will be using them on the Rusty tools drag strip.
The republic tool cars are not really 1/43 either .More like 1/40 or so.They also made their cars fit one chassis.Kinda like HO does now..
