a little history about this 56,Mick and I were talking back and forth, and we both agreed we liked the 55 56 and 57 Chev. 2 door sedans, but with the exception of the 55 and 57,no one makes the 56,so I went on the look for a 56 body, and was only able to come up with one,and its a nomad,oh great now how do we get around this hurdle ,so its back on the puter and talkin back and forth with Mick, well we`ll need a top,I just happened to have one of the RANCH DESIGN 55 2 dr sedan bodies left, which were basicly the same top,55 56 and 57 tops were all the same, got everything rounded up and boxed off she went to KANSAS to let the "RESINATOR" out at 43MOTORSPORTS perform his magic on the 1ST 1/43 1956 CHEVROLET BELAIR 2 DR SEDAN on the market,so if you guys decide to purchase one of these, keep in mind, its only made by 43MOTORSPORTS,so the value will increase over the years, when you can find a 55 2dr sedan (made by MOTOR CITY) DIECAST you`ll pay any where from 150 up to 300 bucks, the 57 2 dr sedan is made by HIGHWAY 61 RESIN and you`ll pay any where from 85 to 117 bucks if you can even find them, the first ones made sold out in 1st day,I`ve contacted them about when the next run will be made, all they could tell me was...keep checking? so anyway with this 56 instead of buying 1,buy 2 and stash the second one because its going to increase value, just like buying stock! :laughing-rolling: Thanks Mick!

Nice work. My father had a 56 Bel Air. My mother called the junk yard to get rid of it while he was at work. They came and punched a hole through the roof and put a bar across the ceiling and a chain through the hole and lifted the car onto a flatbed. I wish I could have had that car.
