I finally put a reliable timer on the track (approx 62ft.) this week. Went with a Carrera 71590 for now. Anyways I put Peter's printed mag chassis under a Dslot Porsche 962 and a Mazda 787, using all the original Kyosho running gear including the stock tires. The result was a fast lap of 5.05 sec. and 5.08sec. respectively, with with flawless predictable handling. Unfortunately I was unable to get a time on the cars before the change but my Dslot McLarens go 5.49/5.52 sec. Thank you Peter.

sounds great,I might be getting with him for a standard chassis on one of my drag cars,after getting these bodies coming out great,I think I should go with a chassis that looks like it grew there! :lol:

These chassis really are the way to go. When I first upgraded to them I put a MRRC motor in. I pulled them yesterday a returned to the stock Dslot motor as they were far more motor than driver. :lol:

i have to go to turkey for work for 12 days in january, maybe i´ll design a chassis that uses all the carrera parts if i find some time and i think i will have more than enough time. no, i´m not really looking forward to it, not the designing of a chassis, but for the trip.

Sounds like a couple jobs I used to have. Its not just a job, it's an adventure!
