new D143 layout with jam cars...

Guys I've been toying around with doing this for some time.I've enjoyed D132,but it takes a large footprint to have much racing, plus it can get very expensive. We still enjoy 1/32 analog racing on my Artin 1/32 track but was looking for something different.
I remember the ol Jam cars in the Tyco and Ideal slotless system. They were cool, but to me just never worked as good as they should have.Until I asked for some advice I was unsure about D143.Did it work well and could you use ghost/jam cars.Well it does and yes you can.
For now I'm just using the ol' rubber band trick to control the jam car.We plan on installing some d132 chips in a couple of cars so that one can really have the ghost car effect, with lane changing..Just had to share some of the fun with you folks.. :D
Here is a picture of my modest layout. We will expand,as I do have more track. For now this is just fun.We do have lap timing and all on the larger layout. It is fun trying to beat your best time, but nothing like running with another car or cars. The jam cars don't make a mistake,I can and do :D
I also want to thank Brian (BRS Hobbies)for his fast service and taking time to answer tons of questions.
