I'm looking for a HOWTO on converting non-Carerra cars to Carerra Digital.

I've been doing some googling and thus far the information I find is about D132 and not D143.

Or should I just jump into converting my D143 to D132. Also will D143 cars run on D132 without being chipped?

It is pretty simple to convert.



1st are are scx with 1/43 chip and 3rd is a 1/32 chip. 1st drill a hole for the sensor. New carreras already have it molded in to the chassis. Then disconnect wires from motor and solder wires to 'front' of chip wires and then solder rear wires to motor. race and repeat for other cars.



also you can use small rc plugs instead and then you can swap out motor for analog or digital

I like the Deans pins; I use those on my R/C Crawllers and I have been thinking about using them on my 1/43 cars as well.

Tre, there's a discount electrical supply up off 35E in Carrollton (Tanner electronics)that has some similar plugs that are actually a little smaller for cheap!!
