These two are lying on my workbench at the moment.



A nice contrast, isn´t it ?

The car in the background was the result of the idea "why aerodynamic cars only in the bigger scales ?" and so I decided to build a body resembling the Eurosports and similar cars in 32nd and 24th scale.
The chassis will be "race style" as well, of course.

The black one attracted my attention because there are only few models of this style available in 43rd scale.
It was a bit too narrow and short, so I inserted black Styrene sheet and now it has the correct dimensions.
And because of its shape it is easilyy to be casted.

Great projects, i like the white car, what is it?

Over the last 6 years Carrera produced Peugeot and Porsche LMP cars, so I don't think you could say there has been a dirth of "aerodynamic" cars produced, Arkay. However, both cars are nicely done.

To me Eurosports is so much of a Generic term, I knew what he meant, but I can understand the confusion. Those kinds of cars are not my "bag" really, but that's not to say people should not build them or that I can't get something out of watching them be built. The more things that are built in this scale the better, I can learn something along the way!

Sorry I offended you but I figured I'd get a rise out of Chuck. I haven't been around for a few months and now I won't be around for a few more. I'll just go away and die quietly.

i think we are losing something in the language translation. especially at this time when builds are slow, any 1/43 car constructed and shared on this forum should be welcomed and greeted with positive enthusiasm . i can pull out my vintage road & tracks from 40 years ago and see similar full scale prototype versions of arkay's white model that never made it to a real track for various reasons. innovative design in car building is interesting no matter what the scale is. arkay------ any of these would be great companions for your black beauty-----http://www.jimmyflintstonestudios.com/viewcategory.php?groupid=0. any way good job on the builds.
