My Dad had a 64 Barracuda. My Uncle had a 65 Barracuda. I owned a 66 Barracuda Formula "S" back in the 1960's. I've seen the 64 and 65 side by side. To the best of my knowledge there was but one way to tell the year of those cars.
The 64 still had the push button transmission gear selector. Also the 273 2 bbl motor was the top power choice.
The 65 had a steering column gear selector. Also the Formula "S" package was introduced.
Not debating or nit picking, just pointing out some facts.
Either year is correct, unless you have some interior details in place.
BTW - both are very cool.
