Nice castings, Lloyd!
What will you do for chassis?
Adapt a fastlane? ;)

Thanks guys.
dge, that SAAB was one of my first castings, a long time ago it seems, and I thought I should build one after seeing the great build Marc did with one for the Transam proxy!
Chuck, the BMW and SAAB are mine, but the Sunbeam Talbot was by MAF, who made Kev's Mercedes 300SLs, so a nice piece of work!
Peter, the racing cars will have plastic card chassis, but the rally cars will probably have brass chassis.
Regards, Lloyd.

don´t try more coats, you will only loose details, Lloyd. I made the same experience, sometimes the color are way off the paint samples :/
nice shine, so!

next time use a white primer for yellow coats.

A red primer is useful where you want warm yellow and orange. Of all the paint colours yellow is thathw most affected by undercoat colours. Black primer will send it green, grey similarly greenish. White will give you a truer color but may require more coats for colour depth.
It may not be the colour that you originally wanted, but you'll have no fear of not being able to follow it on the track.
