Planning return to 1/43

Hello,
its been a while. Looking to get back into 1/43rd racing again. Had to dismantle layout a few years ago. Kept all track and cars hoping to rebuild. I have 4 x 14 ft available in furnace room. Not ideal but its some space at least. Have a lot of 1/43 artin track from prior layouts but I've been buying up Carrera Go track as well. Considering looking into carrera digital. Really like the idea of lane changing and multiple cars. Saw a post from Martin showing how he had both digital and analog available. I like that possibility given the large collection of analog cars we've accumulated. Years ago, I was fairly active here as Jimmy43. I hope to start building some bench work in a month or so. Need to complete some outdoor projects first before the snow flies here in the north. But I'm determined to re-enter the hobby. The boy and I have been running cars on weekends on some tracks we have to dismantle before Monday. He's keen to get back into the hobby too.

there are 2 cars sitting on the shelf - one red and one black NASCAR, bodies from a flashlight if i remember right? :D

Peter, we've come a long way since those Nascar flashlight bodies. Been very impressed with your work. The 3D printing stuff you're doing is incredible!
One of my favourite cars still is the 917 lexan you did for us. Even had CJ race that against his Ferrari. One of my favourite slot car experiences on this forum.
