Boarders

Boarders are done. Finally. Whew!!!!!



I tore the track apart at Easter to bank the 4 lane oval and to permanently attach the 2 lane road coarse with a set of inside and outside boarders, and to landscape the layout. I used 1/4" hardboard (masonite) as it is the same thickness as the Go track. It was definitely a learning experience to form the hardboard around the high banks and their approach's and exits. Now for paint.

Thanks for the kind words guys. It is a fun, fairly fast track @ approx 62ft. with a best lap so far of 4.95 . Peter, I know that now :doh:
