Homemade Guard Rails For Carrera Go Track

I was asked about my guard rails in another post.

I didn't like the guard rails that came with Carrera Go sets so I made my own using Carrera Go guard rail supports and Evergreen styrene.



I modified the Carrera Go supports using a razor saw, inserted a .080 x .080 styrene post into the support and then glued a length of .060 x .080 styrene to the post.



This gave me a flat surface to glue styrene guard rails to the posts.



Here is a back side view of the completed guard rails and posts inserted into the modified supports.

That's a good use of those old style Go supports, I never liked that guard rail system so to be able to make it into something that looks so good is Fantastic!
