Reminder, in order to reserve your spot, payment is due June 1. Advance payment will guarantee your spot. Also, if you don't pay/are not committed, time will be left for others to join and hastily get a car together.

If possible, send the cars without clear plastic slot car boxes. A car in a cocoon of bubble wrap is very well protected. The clear plastic boxes are heavy, and we will not be sending the cars from venue to venue with them. There is no guarantee that the boxes will be returned.

Our experience in sending cars around is that transit damage is very unusual. 99% of the breakage in these races is loss of small, projecting parts like mirrors, during the actual racing. We will do our best to collect these parts as they fall off, and put them in little bags, labeled, which accompany the cars.

You may send a few spares, if you like, but most never get used. Spares that occasionally get used would be braids and gears.

No numbers can be repeated at request of hosts...

I will enter a 997 GT1 class or maybe a P class as I have a supply of the Avant 180 long cans, and to run it, it appears as if I need to run in the p class, at least that is what I think the rules are telling me. If I stick a Piranha in it then it can run in the GT 1 class?

Edit. Reread the rules, If I am to enter this 997 then I must remove the Avant long can and replace it with something from the motor list as 997 is not a P class body and therefor I can not run a chassis with an unlisted motor. So I will stick a Piranha in it and run it as a GT1

Is there a reason these Avant motors are not on the list? I have both the orange and silver ones

Re reading the rules, I will have 1 entry the 997 #33 GT1 as both have podded chassis and we are allowed 1 entry per class. If we need more competition the #99 is ready also for GT1.

I'm always up for good proxy racing and I approve of this proxy.

I guess since this was moved from other forum to this one, Some racers that entered were missed.
I enter #2L for GT1 and #40 for GT2.

Well at least we have more in GT2 than last years 4. GT1 has 6 cars same as last year. But P class is 4 cars down so far. I will enter 2 classes as I did last year. Not sure if it will be P or GT1. But there will be a GT2 entry. Just trying to decide if it will be the Ferrari again with a different motor or something else.

Austin do I have to declare the car and class when I make the payment?

I'm A Palmer. Then I'm in for 2 for GT1 class, the F40 #99 and the 997 GT3#33. I need to paint the 997 soon. I will send PYPL for the second entry. Also I have a 991 GT3, is that too new for this race?

I think Austin means you can enter 3 cars, but only 1 in each class.....

Just as an update, my P entry is now a #41 McLaren F1 GTR; whilst my GT1 entry remains as the #32 Honda HSV Super GT.

Both cars are pretty much ready to go - should be in the post to get to you in a timely manner.
