Now don't get discouraged if your car did not place well. Stuff happens in combat. Different drivers...accidents, etc.

We adjusted Fitzy, had to get some float. After that, much better sir.

Thank you all so much for arranging and putting this whole show on.

I have had and will continue to have, a great time thinking and building, to say nothing of the pride of seeing the car in the home of oval racing! even the research has been great, just leafing through 100's of old photos on the 'net.

Well thank you guys for the kind words and entering the race.

I think for a scratchbuild event, we had a great turnout of cars and racers.

Yes, Lou was a 1:1 driver. Another one that chewed the same dirt I did back in the day :lol:

I only regret I could not get more video or photos. But when you are trackside, there isn’t a lot I can do. :violin:

I am going to do a video report on my thoughts of the cars here in a few.

Looks like the Summer Slam was a success guys.
Great looking field of cars in both classes with close lap times.
Big thanks to Show Me Speedway, Harry and drivers for putting on the event.
I know I'll be be building for the next race. Perhaps a replica of the real 00.
