We have results!
But first a little background...... The track was prepped for racing early this morning. It was vac'd, wiped down with a tack cloth and then 200 fresh rubber laps were put down on each of the lanes. Today's drivers were: Matt (changing.gearz), Jeff (dge467) and Bob (rleog). Matt drove the white (middle) lane, Jeff the red (inside) lane and Bob the blue (outside) lane. I handled the computer and marshaled the cars. The drivers stayed in their lanes throughout the race and the cars were rotated in and out in reverse qualifying order; starting with the higher number qualifiers and moving down to the lower number qualifiers. There were a total of 35 heats and each car was run for 3 minutes in each lane, for a total of 9 minutes of racing.
But first, we ran the concourse event. Each racer was also a judge in this event and each one scored their favorite 10 cars. The numbers were then added and here are your top 10 cars:

Here's your racing podium for Round #1:

All in all, a great group of cars to run; all of the racers had a good time and as you can see from the numbers, there was some very close racing throughout the entire leaderboard.
On to Round #2 at Cornerstone Raceway in Grafton, MA, which should take place sometime shortly after June 5th.
