Can-Am 2018 - the cars are starting to arrive!

The first Can-Am racer showed up in the UPSP hauler today; straight from California. Steeveew's car is in the house.
I'll take pics of all of the cars as they arrive, starting tonight with Steve's.

And here's the entry from steeveew; a Lola T-70, MkIII. This is a fitting first car as the first Can-Am series in '66 was won by a T-70.

Another day - another car! This one from Tony (bov) in Australia. The Led Zeppelin McLaren M8D/E. Looks very well prepped and arrived in great shape.
Lola vs. McLaren - feels like a race is brewing.............!

Two more arrivals today; one from Val (glasshorsevh) and one from Dan (BARC-1).
Val's is a McKee Mk10 - the "wedge" and Dan's is a Ferrari 350. Both look great and ready to race!

Glad my car made it there in one piece. Those thin resin shells are always a concern.
Field is starting to shape up. Can’t wait to see the rest.

The first of the Lola T-70 GT's arrived today. This one from Mark (dogsbody) looks very nice and certainly looks poised to run on the track!
So, that's two Lola's, one McLaren, One Ferrari and one McKee so far.........

Two more cars arrived on Wednesday. The first is from Tony (brumos RSR) and is a Porsche 911 RSR sporting one of the Plafit metal chassis.
The second is from Dale (aloha) and is a nice green McLaren M8D/E; very smooth mechanicals......
That's 8 cars so far; about 20% of what we have registered. So, next week will likely be a big week for getting cars in ...................
