I am definitely going to join in this proxy. Anything sports car related is the coolest for me. :sci-fi-marvinmartian:
Currently I wade through oceans of historical information to decide what I will settle on for my build.
This year the SCCA proxy, next year SCCA and CanAm. :flags-waveusa:

which class for a Costin Lister Jaguar? Is it standard or modified?

Hi John, The Costin Lister Jaguars ran SCCA in the C Modified division with the 3.8L Jaguar 6 cylinder motor; same as the Lister "knobbly" Jaguars. Aeronautical engineer Frank Costin's body just helped with the road-holding quality of the car, which definitely needed improvement since the Knobbly's front had a tendency to break traction before the rear............. :o

Thanks for previous quick response. Intend to paint in Jim Clark colours or as close as possible but can I use No.4. Would prefer to follow actual car configuration but not sure if this was SCCA number. Have not been able to find a picture.

Great to see so many of my usual combatants already entered.

Please confirm above OK. Originally thought car might be a bit small for motors suggested but I see it is almost identical in size to my McLaren M6a.

I'm in Allan.
Those rules have been well thought out and should suit every one.
I'll be running a Chaparral 2C, the Monogram car with a period paint scheme, may not be the Jim Hall colors as the body needs repair work and will lose the original paint but I'll make sure it looks old school.
Slimline motor with a scratch built chassis. Number to be confirmed.
Not sure of the correct division, I'm guessing it will be in modified - please confirm - Thank You - Dave.

Hi Dave, Yes, the Chaparral 2 ran in the Modified Division and with the 5360cc Chevy motor, it was in the B Modified Class.
