We’re about 3 months out from the due date right now so this is a good time to start having a look at these racers that we’re crafting; Modified and Production.

Remember, the decals will ship out to you all on the 14th of this month.

Here is my first SCCA car.

WIP, especially the paint.
Chassis works well with a brass rod plumber outer section around a wire centre section.
tape over the motor hole during construction. Etch primer on the chassis to keep rust off the music wire.

Very nice. That chassis is a work of art!

That Cobra in a 3DP chassis with SW pod and Hawk motor looks like it’s ready to take on the Vettes in A Production!

Great work for sure on that Costin Lister chassis; the slim can motor will help keep the weight down.

That lister is great top to bottom... Where did the body come from?

Body is a repop of a shell with unconfirmed origin but I suspect MMK.

I had prepped the shell ready for moulding and it was on my bench. I then went on injecting resin in some small parts moulds with some splatter on me and the surrounding area. Next I moulded the Lister shell and.....there were some splatter blobs on it!!!!!

Once the blobs were shaved down the cast shell looked OK but pretty annoying when I am trying hard ....but not thinking very hard. :roll:

I love this series. My favorite of all. Keep the good photos of builds coming guys. I wish I could enter, but I'm buried under cars in production now (7 1/32, one 1/24!). Starting another would just be wrong.

I believe there’s an Elva lurking out there... somewhere.....

IMG_4078.JPG904 DSC V3.0 has a slightly wider track front and rear and 8mm rear wheels when compared to V 2.0 which is participating in the IPS now. It's also lighter where it counts and outperforms V1.0 which was written up on HRW a few years ago. And yes Dennis inside!!! With R&D continuing, maybe there will be a V3.5 one day.

I'm lost. What are we talking about? If it was the Monogram-Revell 904 from a few years ago, I did a review that specified the rear wheel diameter anomaly. It was easily corrected by a taller sidewall tire. A very small discrepancy.

Brumos, I love your brass and wire chassis...very cool indeed.
