Can't wait, had tons of trouble sleeping as I'm looking forward to October the start of the proxy season for me and runs through the IPS or Porsche-Ferrari wars which ever comes last.

We have a Round #1 TQ...…………..

So - here it is!

We qualified the cars in the white lane (middle) at 10V; 10 laps to get used to the car, get the braids right, check to make sure everything was running well, etc., followed by 10 laps for fastest lap and 10 lap average. The 10 lap average is a good indication of the ease of driving the car; the closer the average lap time is to the fastest lap, the easier the car is to drive. All cars had their tires swiped on a sticky pad before the 10 lap break-in and again before the 10 lap qualification.

Here they are; 30 cars lined up before the start of the qualy:







The Corvettes and Cobras were ready for the customary bow tie vs. blue oval duel...………



And the modified street cars were poised to take on the purpose-built racers in the Modified Division...…



And the Production Healeys and Porsche were pitted against the smaller displacement Modified cars...……..




And when the smoke cleared, here are the results:

30. #23 / 8.85 / 8.668 / Gobs of torque, can break traction on the straight, neat little car though and a ton of fun to drive. (NB: the driver has been released from the hospital and should be good to go for the race next weekend!



And here's your Qualy podium; looks like it's going to be tough to beat the Modified cars; particularly those running the slim can motors...……

Boy this is an impressive field! I’m glad my car made it for the start. Thanks for getting us started!

Thank you Allan. I'm kind of shocked to see my contraption sitting up there with those 2 gems. Hopefully it can keep up the pace for the duration

I think the sound is the hard front zero grip tires. Did it handle ok. Can you please check the clearance with your tech block.
