Car Arrivals/Photos/Test&Tune Process

A couple of have asked some questions regarding the process when the cars arrive.

*If the model was damaged in shipment, I will contact you personally with photos. I will do my best to repair it.

1. Model(s) will be photographed and each one will have its own web page.

2. Each car will have a "shakedown" test time before race day to make sure it is mechanically sound. During the shakedown we will check that it clears the track, nothing dragging, etc.

*If for any reason the car doesn't meet the guidelines, I will contact you directly. We have not had a car in this event yet that did not compete aside from a couple special models that were already known not to be in the event.

3. If during the shakedown or the race, your model is damaged beyond the normal scratches/scuffs that will always occur I will repair to the best of my ability.

*I have all the parts on the Skunkworks wall to repair any mechanical failure. If you lose a gear, motor failure, etc, I feel we should repair it. This even is a special one and I do not want a car not to be raced due simply to a failure. There is NO cost for the replacement parts. These are provided by myself as well as generous support from Slot Car Corner.

Some of these tasks are why I need the entries by the date given. I need time to accomplish the photos and shakedown.
