Trans Am in a day!

Built this Cuda in one day. It actually took less than that, but im calling it a day. This is not the best of the best, but it does show how little effort it takes to toss a fair quality car together. Tuning and final details aside, the actual build is very straightforward. I used the kit interior and full driver figure. Car is spec. per our proxy rules. the rest is parts bin. resin driver, AMT Nascar inserts painted white. Decals are hodge podge from the bin. This car will get a repaint, as I messed up the decals, but you get the idea. Sorry for the bad picture, im taking another one shortly.

Bob - I like the fact that the interior doubles as the mounting point for the chassis - pretty slick! :)
I may have to see about getting a second chassis to allow building of the "non official" entry Dodge Challenger - (it is a '72 and doesn't fit the "car list" in the rules) - but from looking at how well that chassis fits up in there, I may have to have a companion runner in the stables here for when my Camaro returns home. :D

I noticed the rules only say 66-68 Barracuda and 1970 Cuda and not 71. Yet the proxy say 66-73. So does it matter as long as the car is period correct? The Cudas I have are 71 and the ones on ebay are 71. Still looking for a cheaper AAR Cuda. Found one but it has the incorrect hood and it is warped at that.
