Coming off the door to door action at Z-carfan's it was time for the field to stretch their legs on the big 144' UK Black road course at Marks Model World this last Thursday!



Here is the field staging for action in numerical order!



















Slot Therapist and APalmer assisted in running the field - and to take advantage of the difference is lanes, they each ran one lane up off the gutter while I ran one of the middle lanes.
Since we had just run the field last Saturday, we skipped qualifying as all the cars ran well at Z-carfan's house and the unique traits of the various cars were still fresh in out heads. :)

The differences in gearing and weight were definitely noticeable on the big road course - but each car seemed to be well tuned to take advantage of their set up making for some REALLY close racing! In fact, after six minutes of racing - the battle for second place came down to just a few car lengths!!!

Didn't mean for there to be quite this long of a delay between the pics and the results - but dinner got in the way... :D

So without further delay - here are the standings at the drop of the checkered flag!




Some of the cars were definite corner carvers, others shined on the long straights, while other were quick out of the hole - one thing that was consistent though - they were ALL a LOT of fun to run and made for some really close racing! :D

Wow wow wow. Thanks to all at Marks Model World for getting this round in the books. I see my fish (Cuda) made a big splash here with a 3rd place finish. Now how has Harry got that Hot Rod Stang geared? 2.474 amazing!!!!!

Cudas 3rd 4th and 5th. Five MOPARS in the top 8. MOPAR or NOCAR 8-)

Way to go BroMan 1st and Harry 2nd.

What a hoot. And I tell ya, these impromptu drag races are the BEST.

Thanks to all for the work on this event. Well done!

I always forget todd drag races everything lol. My car finished one spot higher then i thought it would. My gearing was all wrong and it was prolly the heaviest car in the field. But its all good i love how it turned out!
